  After having a Massive Coronary, where I "lost" 46% of my heart I noticed my voice was raspy and I spoke in a high tone which I had never before done. My Internist referred me to Dr. Dart. She could be defined as a way above average Dr. She diagnosted my problem quickly as a paralyzed vocal chord. This bothered me greatly because singing has been an important part of my life. I have received several awards, was in a C.W. Band and in college I was in several vocal performing groups. I have also sang at many various denominations of churches and other venues. However, not being able to worship in song to G-d is the worst result of my vocal chord's condition. NOW ABOUT DR. DART: At my first appointment with her, as I mentioned earlier, she quickly diagnosed my problem in a very complete, yet understanding and compasionate manner. I have now had two procedures done, which has helped my voice at this time to the point that I can do some singing. I have not had a more long term procedure, but Dr. Dart assures me that we will look down the road. When Dr. Dart walks in the room she brings with her a big smile and fills the room with joy. I find myself looking forward to appointments because of this wonderful, sincere, and positive attitude and demenor. On a scale from 1-10 I must give her a 10. If you want an average Dr. do not go to Dr. Dart. But, if you want a Doctor that is very competent, communicative and friendly demenor, go to her. Cordially, Dale Butler
